About this event
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all KOI students — a special volunteering experience at the 2025 Sydney Marathon on Sunday, 31 August 2025, made possible through a new collaboration between KOI Student Society and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
We’d like to sincerely acknowledge and thank our Student Society Vice-President, Ankita, for her efforts in making this partnership possible for KOI students.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering in Australia is more than just giving your time — it’s an essential part of gaining local experience, building career-ready skills, and expanding your social and professional network.
Why should international students volunteer?
Volunteering is a big part of Australian culture — and for good reason. It’s a fantastic way to:
What to expect

- Grow your social network with people from all walks of life
- Boost your confidence and sense of belonging in Australia
Even if volunteering wasn’t common in your home country, it’s a powerful stepping stone here — often opening doors to job opportunities and surprising future benefits.
