Join ISKCON Sydney for a Grand Janmashtami Celebration!

Get ready for an extraordinary celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha Temple (ISKCON Sydney)! We invite you to join us for two days of devotion, cultural festivities, and joyous celebration on August 15th and 16th, 2025.

What is Janmashtami?

Janmashtami is one of the most significant festivals for ISKCON devotees worldwide, celebrating the auspicious appearance (birth) of Lord Krishna. It’s a day of deep devotion, marked by fasting, special prayers, and vibrant devotional activities leading up to a spectacular midnight celebration that honours Krishna’s birth. ISKCON communities around the globe commemorate Janmashtami with elaborate rituals, soul-stirring kirtans (devotional singing), lively dance performances, and captivating dramas.
