About this event

Let’s be honest—are you still writing “2025” on your dates, pausing, and scribbling over it? We are too.

2026 is here, and while we all have goals and “fresh starts” to chase, sometimes you just need permission to pause, let go of the stress, and actually have some fun.

Last year, the KOI Student Society (KOISS) kicked things off at the Sanctuary Hotel. It was a blast, but you gave us feedback, and we took it to heart. You told us you have more “foodies” than “drinkers” in the crew.

We heard you.

This year, join us at Scary Canary for a Neon-themed takeover. We are dialing down the complications and dialing up the menu.

What’s on the table (literally): We’ve loaded up on platters so no one goes hungry:

What to expect

  • Burger Platters: Cheeseburger, Chicken, Halloumi, Mushroom.
  • Taco Platters: Pulled Pork, Fish, Spiced Cauliflower.
  • Skewers & Wings: Satay, Buffalo, BBQ, and more.
  • Antipasto: For when you’re feeling fancy.

The Drinks:

  • 1x Free Drink Voucher per guest.
  • Free Access to the KOI Bar Taps (until the kegs run dry!).

How to Join: This is a FREE event, but to make sure we don’t waste any of that delicious food, we require a $6 deposit to secure your spot (fully refunded when you attend).

Ready to go? Click the REGISTER FOR EVENT button on the right side of this page to lock in your ticket.

  • Bring the crew? You can bring up to 2 friends or family members (non-KOI) with you.

Let’s start 2026 a little lighter, a little brighter, and a lot fuller. Wear something Neon and we’ll see you on the dance floor!
