About this event

Do you use generative AI tools to help you with your studies? Are you unsure of how to use these tools appropriately? Are you concerned that you may be using these tools in a way which could impact your academic integrity?

If you have questions relating to using AI tools in your academic studies then you may be interested in joining our upcoming FREE online workshop on Tuesday, 8th April at 12:00pm-1:00pm.

The session will focus on the appropriate use of AI in studies and maintaining academic integrity in your work. As AI tools become increasingly popular, it’s crucial to understand how to use them responsibly, and this workshop will provide you with the knowledge and guidelines you need.

The session will cover:

What to expect

  • Best practices for using AI tools effectively in your assignments and research, helping you save time while ensuring your work meets academic standards.
  • How to properly cite and acknowledge AI sources in your work to avoid any issues related to plagiarism or misconduct.
  • The ethical considerations surrounding AI use in academia, and how to balance innovation with academic honesty.
  • Real-life examples of how improper use of AI can impact your academic record and ways to avoid these pitfalls.

This workshop will equip you with the tools and understanding to integrate AI into your studies in a way that aligns with KOI’s commitment to academic excellence and integrity. We will also provide practical advice on how to reference AI, ensuring that you follow ethical guidelines and avoid any potential academic misconduct.
